Theism & Spirituality

Concentrating all the internal forces toward doing a particular action, either good or bad,is spirituality. It’s a comprehensible logic.

Believing in God as the life-giver/the living, most of the times misrepresented with idol worship,is equivalent to concentrating all forces on an external dimension, which is a demented idea if one looks at the wastage done(in the name of God),both time and material.Nevertheless,it’s easier to meditate by concentrating on something external rather than focusing in vacuum.

Either way,it’s spirituality,as long as religion is NOT an attached string.

The first sentence… ‘Concentrating all the internal forces toward doing a particular action, either good or bad,is spirituality’… ain’t it determination rather than spirituality?

@Indisch Yeah,in a way. When people say,”God saved from doing this/that” ,it isn’t God actually who prevents us from acting in a particular manner. It’s precisely, our own internal forces directed towards the good & not otherwise or vice-a-versa.
(crazy but that’s a belief –like believing in God :) )
